Deck Buddy's frequently asked questions

1. Do you service all Northern Virginia, including, DC, Maryland and Virginia?

We do not service DC. We service all areas, no more than 40 miles radius of our Ashburn, Va location, which includes parts of Maryland(mostly Montgomery County), and the entire Loudoun and Fairfax County of Virginia, with parts of Prince William County, VA.

2. Does Deck Buddy work week-ends and holidays?

Our team is dedicated to customers satisfaction. Therefor, we do work most of the weekends and holidays. We only stop working when the weather makes it impossible to work.

3. Are you licensed? And how can we verify a contractor's license?

Yes, Deck Buddy LLC is licensed as a home improvement contractor in Virginia and Maryland. We also carry Liability Insurance and Surety Bond in both states, and all affiliated counties.

4. Do you build decks, as well as staining, sealing and pressure-washing them?

Yes, at Deck Buddy we do it all. We build decks, pressure-treated wood decks, as well as composite decks. We also resurface decks. And lastly, but most importantly, we are one of not many deck contractors that does professional deck maintenance: Pressure-washing, Staining, Sealing, Sanding and Fixing decks.

5. Does your work come with any warranty?

Deck Buddy provides two years workmanship warranty, as a licensed home improvement contractor, when building or refinishing decks. The products used by us also comes with a wide variety of coverage. 

6. Is it better to replace a deck that is in a bad shape, or Restoration is the best option?

Even though it might be a big investment, it costs significantly less to Restore a deck compared to replacing it, as long as the decking and railing are in a "restorable" shape.. When a  Deck Buddy estimator inspects your deck, we will be able to tell if it can be restored or if you need to resurface it or tear it down and replace it.
